See for yourself ….
So I made a website that shows how to do the most with what you’ve got. I invite you to check out my website to see how you can make one shirt and one pair of pants look so different.
Also, Guess officially has my vote for my favorite pair of jeans. I went to the outlet this weekend and found 3 pairs of jeans for a total of $120. They aren’t too thin, or too decorated. They’re perfect. If you’re like me and you don’t have the flawless, thin figure, these jeans provide room for some ‘junk.’
I hope you had fun shopping with me this season!

Dress Up Your Face
Another great part of fashion is dressing up your face.
For those of you who were like me a couple years ago and have NO clue how to do your makeup, I highly suggest that you go to a makeup store ( Mac or Sephora) and just say “I want a casual look” or “I want a dressy look” or “I don’t even want it to look like I’m wearing makeup.” They will literally give you any look you want for free. They won’t do both sides of your face though, so don’t rely on them everytime you’re planning on going out. They will show you step-by-step how to do one side of your face and then they will watch you do and help you do the other side. It will be a very beneficial visit. And also, feel no pressure to buy the exact makeup they are putting on you, I assure you that you can find a similar brand for much cheaper at Macys or even Target.
Don’t feel pressure if you don’t like wearing makeup. You can dress up your face with a hat, scarf or sunglasses. It just pulls an outfit together much better….

This is the week every shopper waits for is here. Or maybe it’s the week you dread?
But Black Friday is here.
I don’t really have much to say because EVERY store has a sale going on. If you want the bargain of all bargains, go to some outlets near you. Sale items are on-sale. What’s better than that?
I suggest going to Queenstown Outlets or Hagerstown Outlets because they have great stores like BCBG, White House Black Market, Coach, Polo, anything. And it’s all on sale.
The best thing is that all of these stores have people inside that are more than willing to help you decide what is in style. ASK THEM if you think it’s a fashion fail, they’ll be honest.
Have SO much fun! BE CAUTIOUS OF CRAZY SHOPPERS!

Complete your look
You’ve got the outfit (whether it be cute, comfortable, casual, dressy, whatev), you’ve picked your shoes and now you’ve got the jewelry to match, and you’re thinking, what else could I possibly need?
I’ll tell you … You need a bag. There is something special in having a purse that matches your outfit. It completes your look. Picking out a purse/bag/clutch that matches your outfit is one of the easiest parts of completing your outfit. If you have a black shirt, you can use ANY color imaginable to complete your outfit. And to be honest, you can even use brown. Same with if you have a white or brown shirt, any color goes.
If you have a more detailed shirt, you can still stay with the same nuetral colored bag, or you can get crazier. (Like you did with the jewelry) take a color that is in your outfit, even if it is very tiny and only in one spot, and find a bag that matches that color. If you’re afraid to pick a bag that matches such a tiny spot on your outfit, don’t be worried. As soon as you’re holding the bag next to your shirt, it will bring out the color it’s matching with instantly.
Despite a girl’s opinion on other things, for purses, size doesn’t matter! How great is that? You can take any size bag that you feel comfortable with. As long your stuff fits in it, you’re good to go.
Keep shopping at the same stores I’ve been telling you about. They still have the greatest deals. And surprisingly, you can even find some great buys at Walmart and Target. You’d be surprised at some of the bargain bags you can find there. If you’re still looking for designer brands with affordable prices, continue to stick with Tj Maxx, Marshalls, Filene’s Basement, or Ross.

Let’s Accessorize :-)
You now have your outfits put together, and you’re stuck in a bind about how to dress up or dress down your outfit. So let’s accessorize
Accessorizing is probably my favorite part about getting dressed up. The best way to make your accessories different is to look at your outfit, find a color that is in your shirt/dress/skirt/pants/whatever that is the least used. For example, if you have a black dress with a teal Polo horse, you want to find earrings, a necklace, a bracelet, a ring, whatever, that is that exact same teal color. It really brings out the horse from your dress. This is a very simple way to make an outfit look better.
Personally, I think Kohls is the best place for cheap accessories. They have such a variety of colors, sizes and prices that you can find whatever you want to fit your budget. You can never have too many accessories with an outfit as long as its the same style. For example, multiple bracelets look great together, but you don’t want to wear multiple bracelets, and multiple necklaces. You usually want to pick one or the other and run with it. Accessories are necessary. Have fun!

Cute and Comfortable
I realized that most of the blogs I’ve been posting are about cute clothes, but all of them are fairly ‘dressy’ I guess you could say. I know for me, if I get out of bed and put on jeans and heels, I feel like I’m going to prom … That’s about how often that happens. So I thought I’d introduce you to an outfit that is cute(and presentable) and SO comfortable at the same time.
I bought a pair of awesome black yoga pants the other day and I suggest that everyyy girl get a pair. I’m obsessed. I wear them constantly. Today I went with the yoga pants, a Victoria’s Secret hoodie and some boots from Marshalls . But two days ago I wore them with a black/white/gray plaid button-up and some black flats that resembles ballet shoes.
Yoga pants are such a great investment because you can wear them so many different ways. You can’t go wrong.

Shopping Success!
So I went shopping today cause I had a little extra money that I could spend, and I’m not going to lie, it was very successful! Nordstrom had some awesome sales going on! I bought a teal long-sleeve fitted t-shirt, and I wore it to class tonight with some fitted black leggins. But guess what? I’m going to wear it again this weekend to a party with jeans and a cute overbelt that I bought from Forever 21 for $6! You can’t beat it.
Another great buy, those fitted black leggins. So comfortable. I know some girls feel uncomfortable with the top of there legs hanging out, but no worries, New York and Company has these great “dressy” sweatshirts that cover your legs. The sweatshirts are about $20.
However — the jean leggins — avoid!!
I’m not sure who thought that would be a good idea, but jeans don’t look good if it looks like the woman can’t breathe in them, so why these were created, I’ll never know.
Anyway, these are simple, easy outfits! I believe in you.
Happy Shopping

Same Clothes, Different Look
“I don’t know who invented high heels, but all women owe him a lot” – Marilyn Monroe
I couldn’t agree more.
So you know those jeans and black shirt that you just bought? … now it’s time to either dress it up or play it down.
One of the best investments you can make is an affordable pair of comfortable heels. Ask any girl. Heels alwayssss make you feel sexier. Does it really make our butts look better? Who Knows. But if you’ve got it, flaunt it.
This article claims that really high heels are in fashion, but to be honest, any type of heel works. Take a smaller heel with those jeans and black shirt, and you’ve got more of a business-casual look going on, or go for the really high heels, and go out for a night on the town.
You can find so many shoes online for great prices. Take a look around, check out a pair that you’re interested in, and heck, send the link to me and I’ll let you know what you can do with the shoes.
Shoes are great.

So here’s the deal. I know you’re thinking “whyyy are people so obsessed with clothes?” And you’re also thinking “I don’t careee.” Well, you should. I wouldn’t be writing about what is ‘in style’ if I didn’t see people walking around with the most hideous outfits I’ve ever seen. Maybe they don’t know what’s in style. Maybe they can’t afford ‘cool’ stuff. Maybe they don’t care.
That’s where I (am trying to) come in.
If you don’t know what’s in style, I am here to atleast guide you in the right direction.
If you can’t afford it, I promise you, you can. I will direct you to numerous different stores that make looking good cost less.
If you don’t care, well then, I can’t help.
For starters, let’s get a pair of jeans (and let’s buy an entire pair of jeans, holes in your legs and on your butt cheeks, not okay) and a black fitted t-shirt. Such a simple outfit, but so cute. Dress it up with a long silver necklace, or dress it down, with no necklace.
Get a nice pair of jeans from GUESS
or get the same pair, much cheaper from Marshalls
Black shirts are EVERYWHERE and always in style. Nordstrom Rack, $7.97 … it’s that easy.
Go ahead girl, you can do it!
